The Academia.edu website currently supports the English language, and a Spanish language option is currently being tested. However, papers from all over the world are uploaded by authors from all backgrounds. You can find papers in hundreds of different languages on Academia.edu
Change the site language
Academia's primary and default language is English. You can change the website language to Spanish in the account menu. To open this menu, click on your name and profile photo at the top of your screen, then click "Site Language".
Search for papers in other languages
All Academia users can search for any paper in any language. In the search box, begin typing in your preferred language. The results will show you all paper titles that match the context of your search.
Academia Premium users can also search for the full text of any paper. We'll attempt to match your search query within the text or documents themselves. Or, you can explicitly filter your results by language.
Additionally, you can easily search for research interests in any language the same way you would for English.
