If you want to end your login session on Academia.edu, you can always choose to log out. Logging out of your Academia account is especially important on shared or public devices, like your library computer.
Be advised that if you want to download a PDF on Academia, you'll be asked to log in again. You can log back in to your Academia account, or create a new one.
To log out of your Academia account:
Go to www.academia.edu.
Click the button with your name and profile photo at the top-right of your screen.

Click Log Out.
