If you see an Academia Premium, Academia, or academia.edu/payments line on your billing statement, credit card transaction history, or Paypal transaction history, that only means one thing - you have an Academia Premium subscription that was added or renewed. If you believe this payment was made in error, our support team can assist you by researching whether your payment is eligible for a refund.
For these kinds of questions, please feel free to submit a support ticket to us by clicking here and select "Academia Premium Features, Billing & Payments." If you see this payment on your credit card statement, all we need from you in that ticket is the following information about your payment:
- The last four digits of the card where you see the charge
- The expiration date of the card where you see the charge
- The date the payment was billed to your account
Or, if you see this in your Paypal account history, we'll need:
- Your Paypal email address or Paypal transaction ID
- The date the payment was billed to your account
