You can add a DOI to any paper on your profile. A DOI helps readers find and cite your work accurately. Adding a DOI to your paper's information will also give your paper an additional level of credibility and allow readers to learn more about your paper's journal.
Once added, the DOI will appear in the paper's citation details at the top of the paper's page.
How to add a DOI
- Go to your profile.
- Click Edit under the paper where you'd like to add a DOI to open the paper editing page.

Enter your DOI in the DOI box, under the publisher details.
- Click Save in the top right-hand corner.
You're all done!
How to remove a DOI
To delete a DOI from a paper, follow the steps to add a DOI, then delete the context of the DOI box and save your changes.
If you can't delete the DOI, it may have been automatically populated from your paper. To fix this:
- Add the correct DOI for your paper, if it has one, or
- Contact Support to remove the DOI and provide the link to your paper
