The abstract is a summary of your paper. When you add an abstract to your paper on Academia, it'll appear in two places: on your profile and on your paper’s page. If you're the owner of the paper, you can add the abstract while uploading your paper, or update the abstract at any time by editing your paper.
View or edit the abstract on your profile
- Go to your profile.
- Click Edit under the title of your paper.
- Scroll to the Abstract box.
- Write what you want.
- Click Save in the top right-hand corner!
