At the moment, it isn't possible to merge Academia.edu accounts and their profiles into one single account. We also cannot transfer your information, such as followers, papers, profile views, documents, or subscriptions, from one account to another.

Which account should I delete?
We always recommend deletion of unused or less active accounts. The account that has less papers, views, or followers, for example, is often the better account to delete.
Can I recover a deleted account?
Be aware that when you delete an account, it can never be restored, even by an Academia employee. This action is not reversible. We strongly urge to double-check the account you are deleting before taking any deletion steps.
