If you've lost forgotten your password, never fear! You can reset your password as long as you can access the email address associated with your Academia account. Follow this step-by-step guide to reset your password.
There are two ways you can reset your password. You can either update your email address in your Account Settings, or if you're locked out of your account, request a password reset email.
Request a password reset email
- Select the Log In button on the Academia website.
- Click Continue with Email.
- Enter the email address for your Academia account, then click Next.
- Click Reset password.
- Check your inbox for an email from noreply@academia-mail.com.
- Click the link to reset your password. This should take you to a page where you can enter a new password. Enter your new password, and you should be good to go!
If you didn't get an email
Here are some solutions to try if you haven't received your password reset email:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Add the @academia-mail.com domain to your safe senders list or address book, then try again.
- Wait 24 hours. While most emails should show up in the next 5 or 10 minutes, it can sometimes take a little longer based on a variety of technical factors.
