If you want to save a paper to read later, you can bookmark it!
How to Bookmark a paper
You can click the Bookmark button next to any paper or post you see on the site to save the mentioned paper.
Here's a list of places you might see a Bookmark button:
- On an author's profile, underneath a full-text paper
- On the paper page, when you click ··· More Options
- On your home page, next to any post discussing a paper
Downloading a paper will save that paper to your Bookmarks. You cannot not bookmark your own papers.
From the author's profile
Simply click Bookmark under the paper you wish to bookmark!
From the paper page
Click ··· More Options → Bookmark.
From the home page
Click Bookmark on any post mentioning a paper to read it later. You can also save a paper from a recommendation by clicking Save to library.
Access your saved Bookmarks
- Select Tools in the top navigation bar.
- Scroll down and click Bookmarks.

Remove a Bookmark from your account
If at any time you want to remove a paper from your bookmarks, simply click "Bookmarked" on that paper and the document will disappear when you refresh the page.
If you've downloaded any papers in bulk from a PDF Pack, they will appear in the "Bulk Downloads" tab.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see what I've bookmarked?
When you bookmark a paper, it may appear on your follower's newsfeeds. Your followers may see a box that includes information about the paper you added.
How do I make my bookmarks private?
If you do not wish for your followers to see your bookmark activity in their news feed, you can turn this feature off in your privacy settings.
