Your personal website has a unique URL that you can share with others. Your URL is a great way to share your works in a more elegant, polished format.

Find and share your personal website URL
- Go to your Account Settings.
- Click Personal website.
- Look for your personal website URL.
- Copy the URL and share it with anyone you want to visit your website.
Change my personal website URL
You can change your URL to anything you'd like before you make it public, provided it's not already taken.
Once your website is public, you'll lock that URL in. After that, your personal website URL cannot be changed (in most cases). You’ll keep the same URL even if you deactivate and reactivate your website later.
You can contact Support to see if a change is possible.
What happens if I delete my Academia account?
If you delete your Academia account, your personal website URL will not be available for another Academia profile to use, though this may change in the future.
