To provide a complete picture of your academic journey, you can feature your CV directly within your biography section. By adding a CV, you ensure that visitors can quickly access your full professional history without leaving your profile.
Adding a CV to your profile is easy, and you can do so from your profile page. Once there, click Edit Profile to upload your CV. Once you upload your CV, we convert it on the site so that people can view it without downloading it.
How to upload a CV
- Go to your profile.
- Click Edit Profile under your profile photo.
- Scroll down to the section "Curriculum vitae".
- To upload your CV, click + Add curriculum vitae.
To replace a CV file you've already uploaded, click the little trash can icon next to the file name. Now you'll the opportunity to upload something new! - Click Save Edits when you're finished.
How to edit or delete a CV
You can view and edit your CV from your profile page, if you've already uploaded one.
- Go to your profile.
- Hover over the
logo, under your Research Interests.
- If you want to upload a new CV or delete your CV entirely, select Edit CV.
- A pop-in window will appear to edit your CV with two options:
- To replace your current CV, click Upload.
- To delete your CV, click the trash can next to the file. Make sure to click Confirm to confirm your deletion!

"Something went wrong!" error message
This is usually a temporary connection or browser issue.
Try this first: Refresh your page, restart your browser, or try a different browser (like Chrome or Firefox).
Still not working? Contact our support team and include your profile URL in the request so we can investigate.
My CV won't load or nothing happens when I click "CV"
If you've uploaded your CV within the last 24 hours, you might see a message that your "document is still being converted".
This is normal, and it means your CV was uploaded correctly, but hasn't finished converting! It takes our system a little time to convert your document into a web-viewable format.
Wait a moment: Conversion typically happens within an hour, though it can occasionally take up to 24 hours.
Re-upload: If it hasn't loaded after an hour, you can try deleting the file and uploading it again.
If you see this screen longer than 24 hours after you've uploaded your CV, let us know.
I re-uploaded, but it still won't show up
Conflicts with browser extensions or ad-blockers can sometimes interfere with the display.
Disable Add-ons: Try deactivating your browser extensions/add-ons and refreshing the page to see if the CV appears.
