Research interests enhance your profile by customizing your newsfeed, connecting you with like-minded scholars, and accurately reflecting your interests. To edit, click "Edit Profile," add or remove interests from the list, and save changes. If you encounter errors, try restarting your browser or contact support for assistance.

What research interests do
- Personalize your newsfeed and recommendations.
- Show your work in topic areas you care about.
- Help other researchers find you on interest pages.
View all of your research interests
To see your full list of interests on your profile, hover over View all, then scroll in the drop-down list.
Add research interests
- On your profile, click Edit Profile (under your name).
- Scroll to the Research interests section near the bottom of the page.
- Start typing an interest.
- Select the correct option from the drop-down list.
- Repeat until you have added all the interests you want.
- Click Save Edits in the top-right corner.
Remove a research interest
- Scroll to the Research interests section on the profile editing page.
- Click the X next to the interest you want to remove.
- Click Save Edits.
Troubleshooting
I see a “Something went wrong!” error
- Restart your browser.
- Try a different browser.
- Restart your computer.
If the issue continues, contact support. Include your profile URL so the team can investigate.
